  • Vessel Data: Boat Name, Port Location, Gear Type.
  • Location Data: GPS coordinates used to verify ports.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to connect Captains with Deckhands.
Captains: Your phone number is ONLY visible to registered users when your status is set to "Hiring".
Deckhands: Your phone number is shared with a Captain only when you submit an application.

3. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (SSL) and secure database storage (Supabase RLS) to protect your information. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
