1. Intellectual Property Protection

All software, database structures, "Smart Port" search algorithms, and UI/UX designs are the exclusive property of Walk Dock. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the source code of the Walk Dock platform.
  • Building a competitive product or service using the features, logic, or data harvested from Walk Dock.
  • Using automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract vessel or crew information.
  • Bypassing any technical security measures or access gates.

2. Maritime & Safety Disclaimer

WALK DOCK IS A TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM, NOT AN EMPLOYER OR MANNING AGENCY. We do not verify the seaworthiness of vessels, the safety equipment onboard, the validity of Captain licenses, or the physical fitness of crew members.

Commercial fishing is inherently dangerous. By using this app, you acknowledge that Walk Dock is not liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death occurring at sea or in port.
  • Wage disputes between skippers and deckhands.
  • Vessel accidents, gear failure, or insurance claims.
  • Loss of work or share-percentage disputes.

3. Subscription & Billing

Subscriptions for vessel listings are $20.00 USD/month per vessel. Billing is recurring. Captains may cancel at any time via the Billing Portal. No pro-rated refunds are offered for partial months. Walk Dock reserves the right to remove any boat from the map if payment fails or if these terms are violated.

4. Account Termination

You may delete your account via Settings. Deletion is immediate and Atomic: it cancels your Stripe subscription and wipes your data permanently. We are not responsible for data loss after you click "Delete Account."
